Creator and world builder
A Brazilian filmmaker based in the UK. Z's storytelling is anchored in deep characters and meticulously built worlds. Before film, Z spent a long career in Silicon Valley as a human behaviour researcher and designer, including at Meta on the team creating augmented reality glasses.
On Olga, Z wrote, directed, co-shot, edited, and did the visual effects and colour grade. Z learned VFX from mentors from ILM, Pixar, DNEG and ILP, and is a London Film Academy alumnus (distinction, 2023).
